Polymer Screen Mesh Filter Description

Wire mesh Filters are mainly used in plastic recycling machine and plastic extrusion machine in order to remove impurities/particles from molten polymers, which is crucial for ensuring the quality of recycled plastics. It’s widely used in the separation and filtration of petroleum, chemical, pharmaceuticals, food and other industries.
Screen mesh filter is constructed from full stainless steel wires, nickel wires, copper wires, brass wires, Monel wires, Hastelloy wires and other metal wires by using advanced weave technology. The mesh filter screen is a key part on the plastic recycling and plastic granules production. It can automatically replace the filter screen to ensure continuous production. Melt filter screens generally use single or multiple layers of filter mesh as filtration media. The filter mesh ensure the purity of the polymer melt through physical interception. Multi-layer filter screens (such as five-layer stainless steel mesh filter ) are sieved step by step through a gradually changing pore size (large pores on the outer layer → micro-pores on the inner layer), synchronously stabilizing the melt flow pressure (fluctuation <±0.5%), reducing broken strips or uneven weight.
