Which filtration ratings can be produced for polymer melt applications?

HG manufactures melt filter elements from 5 µm up to 500 µm using sintered multi-layer wire mesh, sintered metal fiber felt and pleated mesh media. The rating is selected according to melt viscosity, throughput (kg/h) and the gel or contaminant profile of your polymer.

Are your candle filters and leaf discs interchangeable with existing housings?

Yes. Provide the housing drawing, the original element part number, outer/inner diameter, length, gasket type and operating pressure, and our engineering team reverse-engineers a drop-in replacement that seals and fits the existing manifold without machine modification.

What documentation is supplied with each shipment?

Every batch ships with a dimensional inspection report, bubble-point or flow test data where applicable, stainless steel material grade traceability (304 / 316L / 310S), packing list and commercial invoice for customs clearance.

Can filter elements be cleaned and reused?

Sintered mesh and metal fiber elements are regenerable. After thermal cleaning, pyrolysis and ultrasonic or chemical rinsing, elements typically deliver multiple service cycles, which is why customers in BOPET and spunbond lines report a clear reduction in filtration cost per ton.
